APPLEJACK: 12 ounce stubby bottle. Really dark brown color, bordering on black. Nice off white head with some good amount of foam as well. Good lacing. Aroma is ... okay. Decent mouthfeel with light bitterness and good carbonation. The taste is pretty darned good. It starts with toasted malts followed by light bittersweet chocolate with earthy hop character in the background. Enjoyable and one of the better examples of the American Brown that I've had.
